Kelowna Actors Studio Inc. (KAS) was formed in May of 2003 to produce vibrant, exciting presentations of the worlds best loved Broadway productions, present fun, challenging and enriching learning experiences for students of all ages, become the premiere forerunner and prime example of a high quality theatre company and enrich the cultural landscape of the Okanagan valley.
Over the past 12 years, Actors Studio has successfully produced over 76 major productions, grown to accommodate over 250 students a semester and won civic and regional awards for their contribution to the arts.
Located in the heart of Kelowna’s Cultural District, the Rotary Centre for the Arts is a multidisciplinary visual and performing arts centre.
As a world-class venue celebrating creative expression through diverse art forms and disciplines, the Rotary Centre for the Arts is a unique City of Kelowna facility in which individuals of all ages and backgrounds can come together to share in the excitement of strengthening art and culture in the Okanagan.
The Mary Irwin Theatre is a unique and intimate venue for music and dance recitals, theatre productions, concerts, corporate presentations and meetings. The 326-seat theatre boasts exceptional acoustics and state of the art light, sound and stage equipment. The theatre comes equipped with dressing rooms and a fully furnished green room.
The Kelowna Community Theatre is Kelowna’s professional presenting house and one of the Interior’s largest performing arts venues. Each year the Theatre is home to over 250 events ranging from comedy to music, dance, theatrical performances and everything in between.
Since opening its doors on September 13, 1962, the Theatre has grown from a small community theatre to a vibrant performance hub in the heart of the Cultural District. For 50 years, people have been entertained and inspired by their peers, first class presenters and performers from around the world.
With exceptional local, national and international artists scheduled to perform this year, everyone is sure to be entertained.
